I was a teenager when my parents first exposed me to aquariums in Kolkata. It was a kolkata trip. I still remember how amazing it was.
At one instance, I was tapping on the glass tirelessly. I wanted to draw the attention of those fishes near to me.
The different colourful fishes were moving in zig zag manner inside the aquarium.
I came to the hotel room and was talking to my mother about them.
I was completely lost in the fishes world.
Soon after the Kolkata trip was over, I got busy in my regular life.
The same boring assignments of school and board pressure.
The relatives dancing on the head for marks.
Meanwhile, my best friend gifted me a plastic fish and pendent on friendship day.
The Orange plastic fish took me back in those days of Kolkata Aquarium.
This time, I wanted to have one.
It's never easy to get Mommy convinced for anything. Not even for smaller things.
Then my notorious brother on the other hand. He kept on saying to Mommy, "Mumma! Don't buy her fishes or aquarium. Anu won't do anything. You will only have to take care of those fishes and feeding them throughout the day."
Mommy said, "Yes,your brother is right."
I was stubborn. I complaint , "You both are not listening to me. I will talk to daddy. It's just cute adorable fishes. Not any other pet which requires lots of care.
Fishes require minimum care."
Finally My First Golden Fish Arrived
Yes, daddy the cool listened to me. He brought home my aquarium and fishes. Infact , he took me with him to but those lovely fishes.
Today, I have Aquarium full of fishes of different colours. Even I have given them different names according to the their shades.
And the awesome part, they respond to me.
I look at them and talk to them when I am in tension.
These mute creatures are full of life. The tiny ones always moving hear and there infuse life within me.
They inspire me in unknown ways and their colours sparkle my mood.
Their tiny wings make me feel fly higher , in the air, in the water and on the land.
